Tantrik Items in Astrology – Mystical Tools for Remedies and Energy


a) Shvet ark Ganapathy- In saskrit it is called Ark, in Hindi/ Rajasthani- Ark and in Nepal Aakuro. This plant has green and blue leaves with small size flowers without any fragrance. Some plants have a rare white flower. The root is peeled off; one may see an image of ganapati below it. This is called shret arak ganapati. Yogis use it mostly for Sadhana.

As per Tatra Shastra any house, which has a shvetarak Ganapati, remains free from all evils ad the possessor is blessed with immense knowledge, health, wealth and prosperity.

b) Sfateek Shivling- This is made of crystal quartz or les glass. One such Shivling is in raghunath ji Mandir Jammu. It bestows on the possessor all comforts of life, health, wealth and keeps one free from worries and offers protection against troubles.

c) Transparent Saligram- Lord Shiva too has a form of Saligram. This is of round shape and of black colour, just like a lemon. It weighs apporx- 100gm. It specialty is its transparency and an image of waving serpent in it. One such Saligram is I temple of pehowa kurukshetra and the other at Kathmandu (Nepal). These may be found in gangotri or its tributaries but is very rare and hence costly. The Sadhak is blessed with various types of Siddhis and blessing of Ma kaali. d) Dakshiaye Sankh- The seashell, which opens towards right, are called Dakshiaye Snakh or Right hand conch. These are found in three sizes- small, mediums ad big, corresponding to male- female and eunuch. The male conch when blows through lips given the sound of ‘OM’. The other two do not give any sound. The place or house, where this shell is placed on a silver plate everyday and its pooja is performed, brigs good fortune, wealth and comforts of life to its Sadhak. It is used I may ways in tantrik Sadhana.

e) One eyed coconut- This is attributed as third eye of lord Shiva. A normal coconut has two or three eyes the one eyed coconut is rare and is an emblem of Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. This is used I many ways for tantrik purpose. After attaining Siddhi, yogis keep it I Temple for Sadhana. They ca see all things around them or any one approaching through it.

f) Siyar Singhi (Horn of jackal) - The jackal normally has no horn but when it hoots facing down wards, a small bunch of hair with a horn emerges from his forehead. This is called Siyar Singhi. It may be of small, medium of big size. It is always kept I vermillion (sindoor) and its hair grows automatically.

g) Kaali Haldi (black turmeric) - its origin, taste ad looks are similar to yellow turmeric. It is found is Mandla plains along Narmada river I MP and I Bastar. It is available I market by the name of Narakchoor. It is used in Tatra as under.

• It is used as chandan for applying on forehead of Mahakaali to appease her during Saghana.

• It is kept after worshipping it with Sindoor, dhoop, deep in a red coloured cloth with one or two rupee coins in treasure box, it increases wealth.

• If sever or nine knots are made into a mala with yellow thread and is purified with dhop, googol or Lobaan’s incense; this mala when worn around neck, ward off evil spirits and planetary afflictions etc.

h) Hath Jori – In the thick forests of Amarkatek hills (MP) and Lumbai valley (Nepal), a plant with blue ad white coloured flowers is found by the name of Birvah. It is similar to dhature plant. If one dig carefully on a Sunday, ear its root two small sized branches may be found which look like a hand having fingers or two hands joined together in prayer. This branch is cut ad separated ad is called hath jori. It is small in size about 2” to 3” ad equally broad. After taking out, it is immersed I til oil for a month. After performing pooja it is kept in Vermillion (Sindoor) and is used I Tantrik Sadhana. It is widely tested article. This blesses the possessor with wealth and Vashikaran of others. One has victory over enemies, accidents are averted and one remains free from tantrik effects. To sanctify it, sit facing East on a red asana and following mantra be recited 12500 times with red colour rosary keeping an idol of Bhairon by side.

i) Cat’s chord (Billi ki jeer) - Normally when a cat gives birth to children, she eats away the umbilical chord. This chord if preserved is very useful in Tantrik Sadhana and Anustha. The wet chord is dried and after worship is kept I Vermillion in cash box. It is also widely tested and confers wealth, fulfills all desires, gives protection from enemies and is also used for Vahsikaran.

j) Nageshwar tatra (naagkesari) - it is available with general merchant. O a Monday worship lord shiva with chandan, flower, Beilpatra ad Nagkeshar along with chanting of “Om Namah Shvah”. One should keep fast and feed a poor man. Follow it for 21 Mondays and o last Monday after pooja call a Manglik Brahmini give her food, clothes and Dakshina. This dispels poverty ad confers wealth & prosperity.

k) Doorva Tatra- this is special grass. It is widely used in Tantra and vedic pooja. It is widely used specially for worshipping lord Ganesha. One should offer 108 Doorva pieces along with chandan, flower jaggery and almonds. It is used for-

While going out for business, out of offering to lord Ganesh take seven Doorva piece and keep I pocket. One will have miraculous success.

In case of obstacles in girl’s marriage, one should worship lord Ganesh for 40days with 108 doorva offerings daily while chanting “Om Gam Gapataye Namah”. Marriage will be finalized soon.

l) Shukar (wild boar) Teeth –His front teeth are useful I may Tantrik Sadhana and Mahavidya Sadhana. These teeth are used as Talisman around the neck of a child who weeps too much, urinates at night ad saves child from evil spirits and eyes.

m) Kasturi – In the umbilical of deer, a round shaped piece covered with hair is found. A very soothing smell always comes out of it. It is a rare piece used I many Tantrik Sadhana. One should keep it in cash box or o body, so that people remain kind to him (used for Vashikaran). It bestows wealth ad comforts ad safe from evil spirits ad adverse planetary effects.

n) Gunja (karjani) – it is found I terai region of Himalayas. It is of either red or white colour. Charak Samhita and Ayurvedic books are full of its medical use. Its root is used I may Tantrik Sadhana. As per Tantra Shastra it should be collected on three occasions only namely.

• Sunday night during Pushya Nakshtra or

• Friday during eclipse or Roshni Nakshtra or

• Ashthmi Night of dark half in Hasta nakshtra.

• It is white in colour like reddish with thin scarce roots. Its possessor is successful in all ventures, Lakshmi is very kind to make him prosper and he gets Siddhis early.

o) Black Til – As per Matsaya Purana, Black til along with Kusha & Urd have originated from sweat of lord Vishnu. Hence these items are used I Homes & eats of pitrand acts as saviour of mankind. Til is use as anti Phelgm & bile, strengthen body ad hair. Its oil removes diseases of skin, teeth urine and dysentery.
