Benefits of Chanting Beej Mantras
The word “Beej” means seed, and Beej Mantras are the seed sounds of powerful vibrations. These are short, single-syllable sounds that carry immense spiritual energy. Ancient texts describe them as the root of creation, holding the essence of divine powers in compact form. Unlike longer chants, these sounds are concise yet potent, making them highly effective for meditation and spiritual practices.
A seed when sown grows into a fruitful tree, There are Various Mantras which are an important
part of Mantras and each has its own power and when mixed with mantras adds extra power to the traits of that mantra. According
the mantras which contain up to nine words are termed Beej Mantra, ten or twenty words forms Mantra and beyond are known Maha Mantra.
Every sound in the universe carries energy, and seed sounds are believed to connect directly with cosmic vibrations. They are linked to specific deities, natural forces, and chakras within the human body. When repeated with devotion, they activate inner energy centers, balance emotions, and bring clarity of thought. They also act as a bridge between the physical self and higher consciousness.
Broadly mantras are divided into
three parts as Satwic, Rajsic, and Tamsic which respectively indicate
Atma uplift, religious and material comforts and death, Uchatan,
loss of enemies and opponents.
SAMPUT : Samput are the specified words used in a mantra. These
can be used in the beginning, middle or at the end of a mantra.
The Samput has a great value in Mantra Shakti or in other Mantras
and be used carefully.
