Vastu Tips for Home - Avoid Scenes of War and Violence
Never display pictures of violence. There
should be no paintings or pictures depicting violence anywhere in your house especially in the South- west corner, as it is the corner of relationships. If there is a picture of
war or wild animals in the South – west, it could have ill effects on your relations with other family members.
Displaying scenes of the Mahabharata or weapons which symbolises violence could lead to arguments in the family and disturbed relationships with your loved ones. In my experience of
thousands of cases, I have observed that among joint families most often these pictures are a cause of the mother-in-law v/s daughter-in-law conflicts.
People have, may times, asked me as to what is wrong with the scene of Mahabharata in which Shri Krishna imparts ‘Bhagvad Geeta’ to Arjuna. The answer is that, here Arjuna is all
geared up for the war and having such a picture in the house, probably causes our subconscious mind always to be ready to fight!
